Postural Alignment Therapy re-establishes proper vertical and horizontal lines of the skeletal body to eliminate muscle and joint pain. This is a results-oriented process designed to:
  • Identify anatomical/structural dysfunction, compensations and limitations
  • Restore and maintain the body’s full range of motion
  • Provide a method for overcoming physical limitations
  • Develop optimum levels of physical and mental wellness
  • Promote well-being through empowering clients
  • Enhance performance of professional and recreational athletes
Over time, injury, repetitive use issues, work environments, improper over-training, and decreased physical activity take their toll. Limitations creep in barely noticed and, before you know it, we find ourselves trying to come to terms with increased physical limitations, pain and additional injury. The activities that brought us joy in the past have been placed in the box on the shelf with a label that says “no time” “too old” “can’t do it” “not fun anymore”.

Postural alignment therapy works to re-claim “that which was lost”

The initial session includes photo images for the purpose of educating the client as well as for establishing a baseline. Additional photos are taken at subsequent visits to monitor progress and document positive changes in the musculo-skeletal structure. It is recommended that the client commit to a series of 8 sessions 1-2 weeks apart. Workout clothing is best (shorts sneakers). Ladies should wear an athletic top so that the shoulder /scapular complex is visible. Additional layers for warmth and comfort are advised.

Over the course of the postural therapy, the client is encouraged to practice their customized exercise program at the studio at no additional cost. This reinforces exercise details and helps sustain the personal commitment they have made to change their self for the better.
